Appetronix Inc. ("Appetronix," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to respecting the privacy rights and concerns of all users ("you") of the services made available by Appetronix. This Privacy Policy explains how we use and protect your personal information.

Scope
This Privacy Policy only applies to personal information we collect through (1) the products and services made available by Appetronix using any of our own or third-party platforms (the "Service"); and (2) your interactions with us through our website, marketing channels, customer support, social media interactions, and related services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you provide to or through technology, software, and services owned and controlled by third parties ("Third Party Features") that you access through the Service. Your use or submission of information to those parties or through those features is subject to the third party's applicable privacy policy.
Collection and Use
In the last 12 months, we collected the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers and Customer Records. Details such as name, contact information, IP address, videos, or photographs.
Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity. Details such as your IP address and interactions on our website.

Information you provide to us
(i) Identity and contact details: your first name, last name, phone number, and email address.

If we use your phone number or email address to send marketing or promotional messages, we will do so in accordance with the "Marketing Communications and CASL" section below, which requires your consent.

Data Retention

Marketing Communications and CASL
Where required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, we will obtain your consent before sending commercial electronic messages (such as promotional emails or texts), and every such message will include a way to unsubscribe. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop transactional or service messages related to your orders or account.
Cross-Border Data Transfers
We use service providers located outside of Canada (for example, in the United States) to process or store personal information on our behalf. When personal information is processed in another country, it may be subject to the laws of that country and accessible to its courts, law enforcement, and regulators. We do not sell your personal information or use it for online behavioral advertising.

We generally restrict the access of personal information to our employees and other parties who need to know that information in order to develop, operate, and maintain the Service or otherwise operate our business, such as maintaining the website or communicating with you. Additionally, in connection with carrying out the purposes specified above, we may disclose personal information to:

Appetronix's Corporate Family. We provide information to our subsidiaries, affiliates, and other related companies.
Vendors or Business Partners. We provide personal information to our processors, contractors, and service providers. In the last 12 months, we have disclosed to these entities all the categories of personal information we collect.

These groups help us operate our business by assisting with tasks such as communicating with you and delivering, improving, or customizing our products and services. As part of that process, sometimes we work with the companies above to process, analyze, and store personal information, including, but not limited to, analytical data.

Appetronix requires these third parties to treat personal information as confidential, comply with this Privacy Policy, and maintain appropriate security to protect your information from unauthorized access or processing, as stated in the written agreements executed between the parties. In addition, Appetronix takes reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure the above-listed third parties process your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. We also take steps to stop and remediate any unauthorized processing of your personal information by those parties.

In addition to the disclosures noted above, we may provide information to others: in response to court orders or law enforcement requests; as appropriate to enforce our Terms of Use; to address fraud or security issues; and in connection with protecting the rights of Appetronix, its employees, and others.
Your Rights
Appetronix endeavors to ensure that personal information is reliable, accurate, and up to date. Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, and provincial privacy law where applicable), you have the following rights with respect to your personal information we hold about you:

(i) Access. You can request that we provide you the specific pieces of personal information that we hold about you and, upon your request, we will try to provide your information in a readily usable format. You can also request other details, such as what categories of personal information we collect and who are the third parties to whom we disclosed your information.

(ii) Correction: You can request we correct inaccurate personal information.

(iii) Deletion / Withdrawal of consent: You can request we delete your personal information or withdraw your consent. Unlike some other jurisdictions, PIPEDA does not provide a general "right to be forgotten"; we will honour deletion requests except where we are required or permitted by law to retain the information, and we will not keep information longer than necessary for the purposes collected.

(iv) Opting out of receiving communications from us: If you no longer want to receive our newsletter, emails, or other announcements, you may unsubscribe by writing to us at support@appetronix.com, or by following the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our emails. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain correspondence from us, including messages relating directly to your account.

(v) Complaint to a regulator: If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or your request, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or to your provincial privacy regulator, such as the Commission d'accès à l'information in Quebec, where applicable).

(vi) Data mobility: Where required by law, you may request that certain personal information be provided in a structured, commonly used format.

We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable Canadian law. You may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require verification of your identity and the agent's authority.

If you disagree with our decision regarding your request, you may contact our Privacy Officer to ask us to reconsider, and you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your applicable provincial regulator.
